This page covers how edocrq handles your data.
This policy explains, in plain English, what edocrq collects, why, and the choices you have. It reflects exactly what the service does today. Questions, deletion, or export requests? Email support@edocrq.com.
What we store
- Your account: email and a hashed password.
- Your QR codes: slug, destination URL, optional UTM tags, optional logo, name, custom colors.
- Scan events: timestamp, country, city, device class, browser, referrer. No IP addresses, no precise geolocation.
- Billing identifiers from Stripe (customer ID, subscription ID). Card numbers never touch our servers.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies (your session, your consent choice) always run. Analytics cookies only run if you click Accept on the consent banner. You can change your choice anytime by clearing the edocrq_consent cookie.
Your rights
You can export your scan data and link metadata from the dashboard at any time. You can delete your account from your profile — this removes your account record and personal data. Redirect records for codes you created remain active so links you printed in the world keep working, in line with our "codes never expire" promise. Talk to support if you need a code's redirect record removed too.
Sharing
We do not sell user data. We use Cloudflare for hosting and routing, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, PostHog for product analytics, and Anthropic for the AI help assistant. Each receives only what they need to perform their service.
